Welcome, Janet Huang!

It is with great excitement that we announce the addition of Janet Huang to our Board of Directors!

Janet comes to STAIR with an impressive background in child development and early childhood education. She's currently employed at Montessori International Children's House in Annapolis as a Teacher's Assistant, where she works closely with teachers and students to prepare lessons, guide children through daily self-directed activities, report on student progress, and engage with families.

As a high school student, Janet got a job working in her local library, where she helped review new books, assisted with creating reading displays, and offered reading recommendations to children and families.

"It's where I really developed my love for books, especially for children's books and for libraries," Janet says. "I still share the joy of reading a good children's book together with my daughters."

In her spare time, Janet enjoys yoga, a good podcast, testing new recipes, and spending time on the water. An avid star-gazer and cloud-watcher, she's also passionate about supporting local small businesses, farmer's markets, and embracing new experiences and adventures.

We're thrilled to have Janet join the STAIR-Annapolis team and are looking forward to her valuable contributions to our Board!
