We know this past year was not the same STAIR our volunteers and supporters have come to know and love.

STAIR At Home was designed to give students and their families a way to "Start The Adventure In Reading" with flexibility in these uncertain times and, like so many others trying to navigate the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, we missed out on a lot.

However, thanks to the impressive dedication of our volunteers and generous financial support from our loyal donors, STAIR At Home gave us much to celebrate in a year that was anything but normal!

We offer sincerest congratulations to the 120 students who successfully completed the 2020-2021 modified program. These students will continue to receive monthly packages of new books mailed directly to their homes all summer long so they can stay engaged and excited about their reading adventures.

STAIR-Annapolis is planning for a return to in-person programming for the upcoming school year. We can hardly wait to welcome back volunteers and introduce a new group of second graders to all the wonderful things our one-on-one tutoring can do to support their literacy development.

It's a great time to join us! Visit our Volunteer page to learn more about our open positions, requirements, and to complete our easy volunteer application.

If you have questions, you can reach our helpful, friendly staff anytime by sending an email to info@stairannapolis.org or by messaging us on Facebook or Instagram.
